Growing up, my family never had much money. My parents struggled to get by and would be able to save enough to take my brother and I on trips, usually for birthdays, a couple of times a year. Since my parents always seemed to be working, I spent a lot of my time entertaining myself. Most of my younger years were spent outdoors. As I got older, I transitioned into movies and video games once they started being created. Yes, I actually still have an original Nintendo game system and it still works.

Once I graduated High School, I joined the military and became a Navy Diver. No. I'm not a Navy Seal but divers are right there in the top three of the special forces groups for the Navy. Navy Seals, EOD, Divers.

Most of my career was spend being stationed overseas. Now before you go thanking me for my service I want to let you know something. Now, I can say I appreciate that but for the longest time I resented it whenever someone would thank me.

You see, I did it for the security of having a job, a paycheck, and all the benefits. I didn't really serve out of pride, or tradition even though both of my grandfathers fought in WWII. I served because I didn't see any other way of making a living. That was it, plain and simple. At the time I didn't see it as service, I saw it as survival. Something I was forced to do just to be able to provide for my family.

Another thing I'd like to share is that most of the time, I hated my job.

I felt trapped, in my choice to continue serving. I became someone I'm not just to survive that lifestyle. I suppressed my true identity, my feelings, and started gradually withdrawing from friends, family, my wife and even my kids. I started seeing everything as a burden. I didn't want to be bothered. I, like many others just wanted to escape that system, that life. I did that by, hiding away in video games, books, and even the bottle. I was just doing whatever I could to get past the next day, the next week, the next year. I tried to tough it out but was slowly self destructing from within. I finally hit my wall around October 2021.

I was suffering from so much physical pain, so much mental anguish, constantly fighting off depression, until one day the dam just broke. That's the day I actually considered ending it all. Making one last dive and never come back.

That's not what scared me the most though. What scared me the most was how easy it would be to accomplish. Based on my position and available resources, I could have done it without anyone trying to stop me or even knowing it was about to happen.

Luckily I didn't go through with it. I still have way too much to live for. So why am I sharing that story with you?

Well, that story is how I ended up here, getting ready to finally retire and starting OST with No Limits.

Since starting this journey, I realized that there are hundreds of thousands of people out there in similar circumstances physically, and emotionally. People who feel trapped within their lives and don't see a way out.

It's my hope that I can reach you in time and help guide you back to the light and a life that's truly worth living. By starting this journey, I've realized my passion, discovered my purpose, and mission in life. Now let me tell you. My life has never been better that it is right now.

Sure, I'm still physically broken but have stopped relying on the military doctors to fix me and have started fixing myself. It's still going to be a long road and might even take me the rest of my life but I'll never give up. I strive every day to improve myself Physically, Personally, and professionally.
